My Pandemic Prayer Journal

My Pandemic Prayer Journal

Do you remember March 2020? That's when the whole world went on lockdown because of the Coronavirus. I remember feeling so confused, with some people saying it was fake and others saying it was real. It was hard to know what to believe. Then, I heard people saying that celebrities were getting it but people of color couldn't. Of course, that was a lie!

During this time, I started writing out my prayers and just praying about the whole thing. It was a scary time, especially because halfway through the school year, we were told to pack up and go home, with no guarantee of coming back for the rest of the year. We were in a pandemic, and we could only leave the house for essentials.

But, while praying, I had an idea. I decided to finish something that I had been working on for a while but not consistently - my first prayer journal! It's called "The Year that Visions Dreams and Destinies Collide", and you can purchase it here https://amzn.to/3G197LH or click the link under the picture of the book.

Even though we were in lockdown, I wanted to find a way to launch my journal. That's when I discovered a virtual book expo being hosted by one of my groups for authors created by Desiree Lee, AIB which stands for Authors In Business. I invested in the event and purchased a virtual book booth. And you know what? From that one investment, so many other opportunities came my way.

My journal was featured in VEU Magazine, you can read the article here https://bit.ly/2AKyROa I was even notified by Desiree that I was featured on a billboard in Atlanta, Georgia! Can you believe it? I'm still in shock, but it just goes to show that even during a pandemic, good things can happen.

I just wanted to share this experience with you. I also posted the billboard pictured below. Stay safe and be well.
